Juan Pablo Roncone (Arica, Chile, 1982). Is a writer and a Law graduate. In 2007 his unpublished novel Los días finales won the prize A la Creación Literaria Joven Roberto Bolaño. Hermano Ciervo is his first short story book and was previously published in Chile by Los libros que leo and in Argentina by Fiordo. Among other awards, this collection of short stories won the prestigious Premio Municipal de Literatura 2012. Nowadays he lives in Santiago de Chile.
