Karl Krispin

Karl Krispin (Caracas, 1960) is a writer and college professor. He graduated from the Catholic University Andrés Bello in Caracas, majoring in Literature, and went on to receive a Master of Arts in Political Science at the University of Tulane in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1997 he was awarded with the Special Mention in the 52 Annual Short-story Contest of the newspaper El Nacional. Among his books we can highlight: La advertencia del ciudadano Norton (2010), Viernes a eso de las nueve (1992), Golpe de Estado Venezuela 1945-1948 (1994), the book of essays Lecturas y deslecturas (2009), and Con la urbe al cuello, that was published previously by Anagrama (Venezuela) in 2005 and 2006.
